...Communications Plan Saad Azab, Maria Canek, and Renedria Welton MKT/571 July 30, 2012 University of Phoenix Communications Plan "The manner in which companies choose to alert their target population is marketing communications" (Kotler & Keller, 2007). An effective communications plan is detrimental in determining the direction a company will take with a new or improved product. Employees, stockholders, consumers and the general public share a part of the plan. Factors for consideration include the product itself, its placement in the market, the cost, and the promotional process. The potential of Chinese consumers purchasing Kudler's extra virgin olive oil product is highly expected as the country is leaning towards a more healthy way of lifestyle, including eating better. EVOO's usage as a healthy alternative to lesser quality oils in cooking will satisfy the wants and needs of those looking to improve the taste and health of foods in general. China will import its EVOO from Spain, which has an excellent reputation for producing high quality olive oils. The placement of EVOO in the Chinese market has gained and continues to gain momentum and is quickly becoming a staple in the cupboards of the health-conscious. The cost of importing the EVOO from Spain to market in mainland China can be justified in comparison to competitors already doing so. "Prices for extra virgin olive oil have dropped by 12% year-on-year in Spain" (The Guardian, 2012)...

...Communication Plan After making pre analysis, it’s important to find out who the target audience is and how we should communicate externally. There must be made a communication plan so that we know what is relevant to the videos. To create a communication plan, there are many different models. In this project we have chosen the "Communication Planning" model (Andersen 2008, 592-615). It consists of seven steps, we have to go through to make a good communication. The model can be used in chronological order, but we will not follow it scrupulously . We only use the steps that are relevant for the project. During some of the steps, other models and analytical methods will be used. The theory about these will be reflected in their respective sections. Objectives of communication During this step we might find out what we want to achieve with the communication in relation to the recipients. The main purpose of communication here make potential customers aware of Limkokwing existence and that it is something other than just a university. Another important aim is obviously to get people to study at Limkokwing once they know it exists. It is important that potential customers get the idea of what Limkokwing stands for. This is done through various communication. By using the right words and pictures, the recipient would get a feeling that Limkokwing is a place that is worth studying at. The message Limkokwing want to communicate is that it’s a place that is completely focused...

Once the previous steps have been identified we will recommend a strategy to implement the changes over the next 12 months. From there we will evaluate the success or failure of the planned change. ...Introduction Bill Clinton Middle School is one of the failing schools in Florida. I have recently been appointed as the new principal. According to the former principal’s evaluation he was not an effective communicator at all. There was no rapport with the staff, he did not encourage employee interaction, nor did he show interest in faculty and staff events. These factors could have been the reason for the low staff morale and lack of collegiality in the school. I have an opportunity to come into a horrible situation and work wonders. I plan on doing this by completely remodeling the methods of communication in the school. Needs assessment Administrators can sometime set the tone for the entire school. This includes decisions, actions, and communication style. At Bill Clinton Middle School, the employee morale was low. I have come to the conclusion that this stems from the fact that the previous principal did not communicate well at all with employees. People have something called a reference group. These are the people that are used to evaluate self worth (Adler, Proctor, & Rosenfeld, 2004). In a school setting, co-workers may serve as a kind of reference group. The evaluated actions of the previous principal explain the attitude of the current employees. If the teachers felt this way I can only imagine how the students acted and performed. Happiness breeds more happiness. This calls for a definite need to increase employee morale and make the school seem more......

...Section II Communication Plan No matter how great an idea or plan is, it will fail unless it can be received and understood by others, making communication very important. Communication drives employee’s behaviors in accepting an idea, plan or change. Making the technique chosen very important. Riordan Manufacture is introducing a new more formal system to track customer’s information. Management realizes employees have a great responsibility to manage customer’s information and wanted to develop a better tool to perform this task more effectively. Keeping information uniform will better assist employees and managers, saving both parties time. Written communication is tangible and verifiable. Both the sender and the receiver have a copy of the communication. Written communication is more likely to be thought out, logical and clear making it an important tool to communicate for complex and lengthy communications. Written communication has drawbacks, it can be time consuming and a disadvantaged to immediate feedback (University of Phoenix). Oral communication is effective by getting the message out quickly and feedback is immediate. Face-to-face communication is always effective but has disadvantages if the message has to pass through individuals. The message will get distorted with every individual it passes through (University of Phoenix, 2011). We decided to use both methods to communicate the change in the way customer information is handled. We need......
