My Dream Job

My dream job would be to become a Nurse. I love working with people and helping in any way that I can. Most people get sick when they see blood and bones. I like to learn about the human anatomy. I am very good at dealing with people who are sick. Being in hospitals does not bother me to most people it does.
I have an aunt who is a nurse at Baptist; she loves her job and is extremely good at it. That is what inspired me to become a nurse. I also have a lot of cousins that are nurses. Making people healthy is a goal that I as well try to follow by. Everyone should feel good about themselves. Nursing takes a huge commitment; you have to study a lot and also may have to work double shifts. Working is something I enjoy doing, I would not mind working double shifts if I was needed to. Depending on what type of nursing you go to school for depends a lot on the type of studies required for that field. Most nursing you do have to know a lot about the human body as well as math and chemistry. To me you would have to like science, and being around people who are hurt and need your help. Going to school is how I am receiving the requirements for my dream job. Making money is always a huge part of a job, especially in this economy. .I would like to have a job that I love doing and make little money rather than have a job I hate making a lot of money. If I was asked to travel as a traveling nurse I would agree to go anywhere they wanted me to. It would give me a great chance to see the world and not just be stuck in one place. If you have a nursing degree you can work anywhere you want to. It is always easy to find a job in that career; we always need nurses to help people. I knew when I was sixteen years old that nursing was my calling in life. I have almost earned all my credits to be able to go to nursing school. I am extremely excited to fulfill my life long…...

...Creating Your Dream Job Creating Your Dream Job Denise Frevert 12/15/2013 Bus 310 My Dream Job There is nothing more frustrating that waking up in the morning and going to work, but when you wake up to do what you love then you not working you are enjoying yourself. My dream job is to be a Register Nurse, ever since I was a little girl I dream of being a nurse to help people. Register Nurse is a nurse who has graduated from a nursing program at a college or university and has passed a national licensing exam. As a child I always play that I was the nurse and my cousins and brothers were my patients. I would provide care and medication to make them feel better: stickers were bandages and water or juice was the medication. It feels good helping others in need and it’s a pleasure to feel needed. Creating a job description and specifications for your dream job. When creating my dream job I need to know the basic functions of my job description and job specifications. Job description is a lists of tasks, duties and responsibilities that a particular job entails (Denisi /Griffin, 2012). A job specification focuses more on the individual who will perform the job, which indicate the knowledge, abilities, skills and other characteristics (Denisi/ Griffin, 2012). These are some of the job description and specification with this profession as registered nurses that I will typically be responsible in order to perform my job: * Record patients' medical histories and......

Dream Job

...A job can be simply defined as a regular activity performed in exchange for payment. I believe that today you have to be extremely gifted at a job in order to be able to stay with it your entire working career. Nowadays many people are thrown from job to job seeking stability in their lives. Almost everyone enters the work force to try and provide whatever they can for their family. It’s hard to compete in today’s occupations with more and more people striving to get to the top, to be the boss with the newly remodeled home, 2.5 kids, golden retriever, cabin in the mountains, and Mercedes Benz. People feel a great achievement when they have reached the point where they can provide these material things to their families no matter how they do it or what they have to go through to get it, whether it be working long hours or cheating the stock market. Unfortunately it’s the same people who forget who got them to the point where they can afford their Mercedes Benz. I feel that credit should not only be given to family, friends, and pastors, rabbis or priests, but also to teachers. Any school could always use another good teacher, one who truly cares about what they teach and who they are teaching to, which is why I want a job that will not only fulfill my life but also the lives of others around me. My dream job is to become a teacher. I come from a long line of teachers, my great grandmother, my grandmother, mother, older sister, and soon my older brother. A part of me has also......

Dream Job

...My dream is to become a pediatrician. I have always enjoyed working with children since I was a very young age. When I was six I used to line my baby dolls up and play school with them. So when I first started thinking about what I wanted to be it was a teacher. Then one day I just got this passion for the medical field so I mixed my two passions and decided to become a Pediatrician. The average income for a beginner pediatrician is about $87,360 a year and about $42 an hour. The most you generally make is about $199,680 a year and about $96 an hour. So the average median income is about $153,920 a year and about $74 an hour. To become a pediatrician you have to have an undergraduate degree in pre-medicine but you don’t have to have a certain major. Pre-med generally is added on another major of your choosing, and it generally adds a year. You also have to complete a pediatric residency, you have medical licensing and some form of certification. Some of the majors for people who gravitate towards this profession is biology, chemistry, or math. To go completely go through the process it generally takes about 10 years. For me it will be two for my associate’s degree in science, three or less for my bachelor’s degree with a major in biology on a pre-med track, four years in medical school, and then finally at least one year of residency. My game plan as of now is to complete my associates in science here at Central piedmont. Then I want to transfer to a four year college......

Dream Job

...My dream job will be a kindergarden teacher. I love small little kids and teaching them would be fun. However, that is not the main purpose of me wanting to be a kindergarden teacher. As mentioned in my last post, many people do not know basic courtesy such as giving up seats to the elderly people or the people who needs it more. Thus, if I am successful in being a kindergarden teacher, I would like to teach them to respect and show courtesy to their parents and the elderly people. As we know, some of the people does not even show respect to their parents. When their parents scold them, they argued back. It is true that sometimes some parents are a bit naggy, but they themelves doesn't wants to nag as well but they do not have a choice. If they don't nag, their child will not bear in mind what their mistakes are. Therefore, as a child, when your parents scold you, do not argue back. They scold you is because they meant good for you. They do not want you to do the wrong thing or walk the wrong path. If you did the wrong thing, just admit it and promise never ever do it again. I have just read a buddhism book on the consequence that will happen to us of not respecting our parents. Everything written in it is true and it is quite an interesting book. Therefore, my purpose for posting today is to advice everyone to respect your parents, do not argue with them when they scold you and also show your love and care to the elderly people as much as you can...

...My dream job is a doctor because I want to help sick people to become healthier. I can also help my parents when they are sick. To become a doctor, I have to read a lot of books because doctors are required to know well about the human body. Also, I have to study English very hard because most of the medical terms are in English. In order to become a doctor, I have to make a constant effort. There are few things for me to work on. First, I have to love and serve for those who are sick. Doctors need to give extra care for their patients because they need to know well about each patient. Second, all doctors have to be diligent. If the doctors are lazy, and do not care to know about the patients, they cannot help them to become healthier. There are many other things for me to work on, but I think these two are the most important things for me to become a good doctor. Dream Job

...In the summer of 2015 I hope to be a registered nurse in Texas. Graduation from the University of Texas Health Science center would be one of the biggest accomplishments of my life. All I can think about if helping sick children forget about their problems and focus and something better to brighten up their day. Even if I was only working in a small cancer clinic in Houston, my motivation wouldn’t be any different. I can only hope to be lucky enough to end up at my dream job in Houston, Texas; the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Becoming a nurse can take a while but once I am registered my starting salary will be about $50,000 a year, although money isn’t my main focus with this job. I feel like there are tons of people in the medical field, but we can always use more supporters for people fighting for their lives. I don’t just want to be a nurse, I want to be support for people losing everything and still trying to find a reason to live another day. We don’t know the reason for someone getting diagnosed with cancer, but we can all try to lend a helping hand. I don’t quite know why I feel so passionate about helping cancer patients specifically, but I know this is something I want to do. I would want someone to be there for me to force me not to dwell on the sad stuff that is out of my control and look at the brighter side. I feel like as a nurse I would not only be helping patients medically, but always emotionally and mentally....
