Please describe your future goals, and the way you believe that the specific program / specialization will help you achieve them.
After my graduation from the IMBA, I would love to pursue a career either in the marketing department of a multinational company oriented to consumer goods or in a marketing consultancy company. I would like to work as a Senior Brand and PR Manager and be responsible for the developing of marketing plans, the communication of new products, Customer Management, the managing of promotional activities and campaigns and the monitoring of budget fulfillments. Working in such a position will provide me with the necessary knowledge and insight of all the aspects of the marketing world and will enable me to use the skills that I will have developed throughout the MBA studies. Given my intention to work in such a company and my determination to pursue my long-term goals, I believe that these are indispensable for me. I think that in order to attain my long- term goals, I must acquire special knowledge and this is possible only by working in this sector.
As for my long term goal, my ultimate inspiration is to establish my own business venture in marketing consultancy. Having acquiring a broader view of the marketing function by attaining my short term goals, I will have the specialized knowledge and the necessary experience to establish my own business which will function as an outsourcing company. Its main responsibilities will be to offer to its clients a wide array of integrated marketing services, such as on- line marketing, advertising and public relations. By analyzing the current placement, the objectives, the target audience and the future goals of each client, my business will be able to prepare a marketing strategy tailored to the client’ s needs in order to increase its brand, market share, website's traffic, qualified leads and…...

...Prompt: Describe how your experiences, both professional and personal, have led to your decision to pursue an MBA at the Wharton school this year. How does this decision relate to your career goals for the future? Throughout my life I have observed two distinct career paths, my father’s and my uncle’s. My father completed his engineering degree and secured a government job in India, which he continues to hold to this day. My uncle’s path began similarly; like my father, he earned an engineering degree. My uncle, on the other hand, continued his education by moving to the United States to earn an MBA, then started his own venture and became a successful businessman in Los Angeles. Evaluating their experiences helped me understand what I wanted from my life and create a ‘master plan’ for my career. While I appreciate the excitement, flexibility, and independence my uncle has in his life, I value my father’s proximity to his family and culture. I now realize that a career as an entrepreneur in India could provide me with the “best of both worlds.” With the objective of learning about business, I completed my bachelor’s degree in Commerce and joined KPMG in the Audit & Business Advisory Department. I believed that a career with an accounting firm would serve me in two ways: first, by enhancing my knowledge of accounting -- the language of business -- and second, by providing me with an excellent introduction to the business world. My decision seemed to be a sound one; in my......

...theft, increases sales, reduces inventory costs (by eliminating overstocking), and provides visibility and accuracy throughout Walmart’s supply chain. To encourage more suppliers to cooperate, in January 2008 Walmart started to charge $2 per case or pallet not tagged (see Hayes-Weier 2008b). In addition to requiring RFID tags from its suppliers, Walmart is installing the technology internally. According to Scherago (2006), more than 2,000 Walmart stores were RFID-enabled with gate readers and handhelds at loading docks, facility entrances, stock rooms, and sales floors by the end of 2006. According to Songini (2007), the emphasis now is on the use of RFID in stores rather than in distribution hubs. Walmart’s competitiveness and its future success depend on EC and IT ability to deliver applications and systems that are agile and easy to adopt to changing market conditions, especially along the supply chain. As it is still difficult to find items in stores due to the lack of Walmart associates, as well as to check prices due to poor labeling in some cases; use of RFID can help the company overcome many of these problems. Walmart is using EC in many other applications. For example, the company has more than 30 million shoppers each day, which generates 800 million transactions. Walmart operates a huge data warehouse and uses business intelligence (BI) for reporting and analysis purposes. Finally, Walmart introduces more and more innovations. To increase the......

I also this year became the Vice- president of the Humanities Preservation Society. In this club, I went on numerous field trips, attended on campus activities, and volunteer and attended weekly meetings. Since the beginning of high school I have taught children’s Sunday school every week at my church, using two to three hours of my time spreading the word of God to the youth of my area. Teaching and mentoring these children, I have watched most of them grow up from babies to being in the early years of elementary school. I also volunteer on regular basis. I have volunteered at the public library since my first year of high school with the children’s librarian. Goals Essay

...Goals Essay It is critical in the goals essay found in almost every MBA application to show that you have clear direction and purpose based on experience and planning. Business school is not another opportunity to "find yourself." 8:00 AM. July 1, 2030. The 23rd floor of the Bank of China Tower in Hong Kong. A woman sitting behind the mahogany desk calls a Shanghai trader to buy 200,000 shares of Alibaba stock. Moments later, she dashes into a videoconference with Tokyo analysts. When the conference finally concludes two hours later, the woman rushes down the stairs, hails a taxi to the Hong Kong International Airport, catches a flight to Thailand, and ends her day with a meeting with the CFO of Asus Computers. I look forward to maintaining this busy schedule as a portfolio manager of an international equity fund about ten years after obtaining my MBA. The Top School academic experience can build on my public accounting training and my multi-cultural and multi-lingual background to prepare me for work first as an equity analyst in the mutual fund industry and ultimately as a portfolio manager specializing in Asian Pacific equities. As a CPA and staff accountant with Big 4 for the past two and a half years, I have developed a solid foundation in teamwork, analytical, and problem-solving skills. As a bilingual associate of the Asia-Pacific Business Group, I specialize in auditing the financial statements of in-bound Asian businesses. However, while Big 4......
