The person I admire

Movie stars and singers, who make a lot of money and are famous, are admired by teenagers. However, they don’t even know the person or their personality. To me admiration is a kind of respect. But there aren’t a lot of people in this world who demand this sort of respect from me. My mother is the only person who has entered my life and made me look at things differently.

The first reason why I admire my mother is because she teaches me about experience. Experience is what you learn as you go through your life. As a child, you always learn that people are really nice and generous. That is not true. As you step into the real world, you will see the a person’s real face and all difference schemes, plan to make them success.[I don't understand what you are trying to say here] This happened to me when I was in sixth grade. When my class had a test and my friend did not know the answer , she asked me what the answer was and I told her what the answer was but when I had a problem and I asked her, she never answered me. Instead she said she didn't know or she that she hadn't got there yet. I was really upset and unhappy but as I have from my mother, I understand why my friend did that and I let it go more easily.

She took care of her children first before she took care of herself is the second reason why I admire my mother. Taking care of a person is not easy, and taking care of yourself at the same time is even harder. My mother always takes care of me first before she takes care of herself. For example, after a long day of work, she is so tired that she just wanted to go home and have a nap but instead she made dinner for our family, washes our clothes and takes a short time to look at my homework and listens to me complaining about the school, the teacher. Then she gets my bag pack ready for the next day before she can even go take a shower.…...

A Person Who I Admire

...A person who I admire A person who I admire is an interesting topic. I believe you can admire more than one person. A typical admiration I have seen is when people boy, are admiring a very famous singer, actor etc. although it is typical, it is still a good admiration because you can use that person as your role model or idol. Fx. If your role model is a sportsman, then you can admire his performing skills, and maybe learn something from him or her. But trough my life I have admired many persons, friends, older people, teachers, etc. All these people have given me experiences and personal abilities which I have acquired with help from them. My opinion is that I cannot admire one person specially. When I admire someone I respect the person’s character. After my experience I also admire someone when I am in his presence. A person who can change a bad day to a good day, fx my mother. My mother is defiantly one of my top 3 list over admired persons. Just imagine without your mother you would not exist. Everyone should admire how housemothers are struggling to raise there children’s. I am indeed of her proud of my mother, it is because of her that I am that what I am today. When I always have been in a bad mood my mother opened up my minds to look at things in a different perspective. Fx when I has had a problem she shared her experiences with me and learned me to tackle every situation. Another important person who I likes to admire is my father. A father and a mother is an......

Reasons Why I Cant Look a Person in the Eyes

...The Reason Why I Can’t Look a Person in the Eye In grade nine, during semester two I had gym last period. It had been a long day, I was exhausted and I just wanted to finish this class and go home. To make everything so much worse we were going to be playing a game that I absolute hated. Soccer-baseball. Both classes were standing in one large circle, while the teacher with boorish brown eyes, was in the middle yelling out instructions. Her voice echoed throughout the huge gym, as she was saying “Everyone has to pick a partner!” and so on. So I looked over to my good friend faith with glamorous green eyes. And mouthed “want to be partners”, and she mouthed back “sure”. So I smiled to myself, until I caught the glimpse of the boy standing beside me, just staring at me, with considerable, confused, brown eyes. Now you see this boy was supposed to be very popular, everyone knew his name, (but I seemed to have forgotten) and everyone thought that he was funny. Even I chuckled at his resistance to a teacher’s demand, his English presentations, and his sarcastic comments during class. So of course I looked back at him into his eyes, and then whispered impatiently to him “what do you want?” he looked at me all wide eyed and pointed at himself. At first I didn’t understand, and then I realized he must have thought that I was taking to him, when I asked faith to be partners. So I shook my head and mouthed “No”, then pointed to faith. His gaze followed my......

... there are three quotes from her that I think it is really meaningful to me. "You have to be unique, different and shine in your own way", "Do not allow people to dim your shine because they are blinded. Tell them to put on some sunglasses" and "Whether life's disabilities, left you outcast, bullied or teased rejoice and love yourself." It is no wonder this lady from a good Italian New York, turned into the exhibitionist, multi-talented singer songwriter with a talent or flair for theatrics that she is today, Lady Gaga.  She is openly unique, creative, does not follow stereotypes and more surprisingly she does not care what others think about her and she is doing what she loves to do. She also takes frequent political standings to support her ideals. She is a driving force in today's society and I admire her because she is easy for me to relate to. I find a deep connection to her, in the sense that she shares my personality. The major reason I admire her is the way she expresses herself. She is openly quirky and thrives off the fact that people think so. I relate this because I also like to express myself in a way that most people consider odd. Despite she receives constant criticism, she maintains her pride wisely. The other reason I admire her is the way she takes a stance. She is frequently seen promoting her ideas and supporting various national movements.  To be quite frank, I have never been one to openly admit that I love this lady who wears scandalous......

A Person I Admire

...The reason for that goal is a little complicated. Immediately i think of a career and how a degree would help me get a job. Hopefully it will lead to financially safe career. I would appreciate the education i would get for my own personal gain and the value of knowledge. I want to know as much about the world as i can. Still i can’t ignore the fact that what really drives me is the degree. I see it as the more you learn the better you get. My education would improve my life in two ways, by broadening my knowledge, and through reputation. I want to improve on my self and education helps me do this. In college you would find more success of knowledge than you could find anywhere else. Another reason why i am in college because in my recent experience in trying to find a job i realized that the employer takes you more seriously if you have more than just a high school diploma. I don’t want to be working at some fast money business and hardly having enough money to support not only myself, but also my family. Being in college and getting a degree in whatever my heart desires will open up so many doors for me. It would help me get a job that i not only like, but one that will make me feel like i am actually accomplishing something with my life. My last reason, but not my least important reasons is that i decided to go to college because i like being anti-social and being involve in school activities. So a big reason why i wanted to go to college was to experience that. So......

The Person I Admire Most

...THE PERSON I ADMIRE MOST Talk about the person that I admire so much, a lot of names run through my mind. My mother, sister and some good friends. I even wanted to write about Shim Changmin, the man that made my eyes pop out and he is my love at first sight among the Korean boy bands. But then , I decided to write about a person whom I admire so much and who has influenced me a lot . she is my best friend from my hometown, Kerteh , Terengganu. Her name is Khairunnisa and everyone calls her NIsa. She is as pretty as her name but she does not seem to realise this or she chooses to ignore it. She has a face that every girl would die for. She has silky soft , white creamy skin. Her sparkling hazel eyes are complemented by dark sooty lashes . Her hair is straight , waist length and lustrous like the models in the Rejoice shampoo advertisement. She is a simple girl but yet other girls are envious of her. Though she is petite, small and slender she is strong willed and matured. It is not her physical appearance that made me admire her. Her personality attracts people like magnets. She is friendly, talks politely to everyone, has a good sense of humour, caring and a good Muslimah. Another good thing about her , she has no time for puppy love. Although she has many good looking suitors flirting with her, my elder brother included, she paid no attention to all of them. Sometimes I wish she had introduced some of the guys to me. However , being a good Muslimah, she stays......

Person Whom I Respect

...The person whom I have the greatest respect for is my mother. She went through many obstacle in life just to raise my brother and I. She is not only very capable but also a single-parent.   My mother left my father when I was 12 years-old. Her job wasn’t stable and my brother and I were very naughty, we were not willing to study and without a fierce father, it was like freedom to us. Many times my mother wanted to bring us back to our father, but still she never gave up.   Soon my brother and I learnt that it wasn’t easy to be a single-parent and we wouldn’t want to go back to the tormenting life under my father. We realised that what we have now is because of all the effort my mother put in. She established her own company which was a printing company. My teachers in school knew my mother was a single parent. They kept telling me, my mother is very capable. That is when I started to realise that if I kept playing and did not bother about my studies it will put more pressure to my mother.   After some time, my mother’s company did not go well and it was closed down. But she was quick and experienced, soon she set up another company under my brother’s, my mother’s and my name, DMI Productions. I really admire the way she did things and how capable she is. Although sometimes she scolds me, I never disrespect her.   I knew my mother was the best and I am really lucky to have her as my mother. I started to do well in my studies until today, because I know that no matter what I......

I Am a Very Interesting Person That Would Like to View an Essay

...IS CRIME ANISSUE AT QEGS Introduction I think crime is an issue at QEGS but mostly petit crimes such as small thefts and graffiti on a small scale. However there are some exceptions to this such as the recent burning (arson) in the boy’s toilets, large graffiti near studio and sometimes you hear about people taking illegal drugs but these are anomalies so I have decided not to use these in my graphs and results. In future I think school could learn from these incidents by placing cameras in blind spots and clearing out toilets before lessons to ensure no pupils are left UN watched during lessons. Also smoke alarms could be fitted in more places so a member of staff could be alerted quicker. Personally I think the most common crime in QEGS is bulling and vandalism/graffiti I think this as they are easy to commit and hard to see by teachers unless they are really obvious. This is also why crimes like drugs and under aged smoking as you can smell cigarettes and see the effects of illegal drugs such as cannabis, cocaine and amphetamines. If the consequences were not so bad for being caught doing this sort of crime it would be far more common. I also think that major crime rates are very low in QEGS as home lives of most students are calm safe and good and the families are reasonably wealthy so often pupils do not go out of control doing larger crimes. CONCLUSION In conclusion to this I think it shows that not many big scale crimes are committed although a lot of......

...frost in winter and on broiling days in summer, in cold rain in autumn and during the dust storms of spring. He has become skilled in protecting his livestock from wolves and homeless dogs, cleaning corrals, transporting and building up gers, butchering and all the other duties common for a nomadic man. Performing all these tasks helped him to built up his strength, moral courage and endurance. Tuvshinbayar is a very determined person. That is one of the reasons he is such a successful sportsman. In his free time, Tuvshinbayar likes simple pleasures. One of his favourite past time activities is riding horses and visiting his home country. However, he concentrates on his intensive training so that he can't afford much free time. He is also a very generous man and gives away a lot of money for charity activities. Once he sold even his judo kimono to raise money for the treatment of a girl who suffered from serious illness. All in all, I admire Tuvshinbayar not only because he is a great athlete, but also as a very warm-hearted person. It is no wonder that he is a role model for many children dreaming of becoming as a successful sportsman as him....

A Person I Admire

...A Person I Admire I can’t really say that I have an idol. I do have people that I look up to and admire, but I do not have that one person that I idolize or would actually like to be. I think that I prefer to look at more specific characteristics and qualities in a person, rather than a person as a whole. I like to find that kind of qualities in someone else and not copy them, but learn from them. I have had a hard time figuring out who to choose as my idol in this assignment until I thought of a person who had a big influence on me during my childhood. I’ve learned a lot from his works and the wisdom I was given, still has an impact on me today. This person is Walt Elias Disney. I find his work very educational for children all around the world and even to some adults. Walt Disney was born in 1901 and unfortunately passed away in 1966 due to lung cancer. His company, Walt Disney Company, produced cartoon movies, comic strips and other productions of entertainment. Disney started out with the cartoon mouse called Mickey who was the main character in his first shorter movies, which also contained some other famous fictional characters such as Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto and the list continues almost endlessly. The first traditional animated movie that he made was “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” in 1937. Even though Walt Disney has passed away, the company still produces movies in his name and the latest movie released was “Big Hero 6” in 2014. As a child I was a huge......

The Person I Admire

...The Person I Admire The sound of a pleasant tone that calls “Gracie” fills my heart with warmth as I open Mama Thors’s door every afternoon. Mama Thors is my boyfriend’s mother. She has short wavy blond hair and blue eyes, and her oval shape face looks like Reese Witherspoon’s. She has a slim body, which fits in with any kind of outfits her laughter lights up the room and her sweet smile makes me feel so loved and at peace. She is always ready to listen to my complaints about work or personal issues that bother me. Every time I ask, she is always there to give me advice. Beyond the support, she greets me with a gigantic smile across her face whenever I walk into her house and gives me an enormous hug and a soft kiss before I leave each evening. Although she is already beautiful, her kindness makes her more so. Smiles flow over her indulgent face as flowers every time she gives presents to people who are in need, such as charities for veterans and people suffering through disaster. I adore being around her so much that my heart attaches to her as a magnet attaches to the wall. I can even sense the lovely smell of her perfume wherever I go, like she is always with me. She makes my visits the most exciting moments of the week for me. I feel as if I am the luckiest person because it is very difficult to have found someone who is so loving, caring, and kind like Mama Thors. She shines on my dark days as the moon shines at night....

I Have Always Thought a Godly Person Was

...I have always thought a Godly person was someone who could quote scripture verbatim, attended church every Sunday and listen to Christian music and many other things. I found when I read the 6th chapter I was all wrong. Dr. Gutierrez enlightened me that a true godly person must be self-disciplined in their attitude, habits and learns about God’s word through church or biblical training. Dr. Gutierrez also said “a godly person is one who takes the truth about God’s Word and consistently lives it each day from the heart and obey it.” In chapter 3, I was intrigued by the parables in this chapter they all had the message of seek, find and rejoice. The parable about the lost sheep takes me back to when my life was full of sin. I knew that I was living wrong however; I didn’t want to let that life go. One day Jesus my Sheppard found me a lost sheep and brought me back to the flock. That day I rejoiced because I was made a new man in Christ. The six –step digression describes a spiritually sick person. In Ephesians 4:18 says “They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of ignorance that is in them due to hardening of their hearts”. Dr Gutierrez said that most people don’t realize they are on this path until the third, fourth, or fifth step. I have been down this path back sliding into sin and often time wanted to make myself believe that it was alright. The first step tells us as believers we should acknowledge where our sin is taking us and...
