Zack Snyder Wanted Christian Bale In Batman V Superman, But Not As The Dark Knight
Gregory Wakeman
15 hours ago image The biggest hurdle for Ben Affleck as Batman in ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ is going to be not just matching but eclipsing Christian Bale’s turn as the Dark Knight in Christopher Nolan’s beloved trilogy.

But before the rather divisive decision was made to cast the former ‘Daredevil’ actor as Bruce Wayne it was widely speculated that Zack Snyder was hounding Christian Bale to reprise his role for ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’.

It’s now been revealed that rumour was only half true, because Snyder has confessed that he wanted Bale in the ‘Man Of Steel’ sequel, but in a completely different role to Batman.

Snyder admitted to Film Ink that this would have been the ultimate proof that ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ was in a completely different universe and reality to ‘Batman Begins’, ‘The Dark Knight’, and ‘The Dark Knight Rises’.

“This is a total and opposite reality from the Chris Nolan movies,” Zack Snyder remarked. “It’s another universe, so we couldn’t hire Christian Bale if we wanted to, because he doesn’t exist in our world. Maybe we could hire him to play another part. We did talk about that briefly. I just wanted to hire Christian to play another part to make that obvious.”

Zack Snyder then joked that Bale could have been plastered with make-up and then portrayed Alfred Pennyworth, a role that Jeremy Irons has in ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of…...

...after Jobs' death last October. More recently, Apple observers pegged Forstall, 43, as the next in line behind Cook. Along with marketing chief Phil Schiller and design guru Jonathan Ive, Forstall anchored the company's top tier of executives, frequently speaking at Apple's heralded product unveilings to showcase the ins and outs of operating-system upgrades. Many felt he was the most logical choice to continue Jobs' legacy of innovation at Apple, where 70% of revenue now comes from the mobile devices that iOS powers. "He was as close to Steve as anybody at the company," Andy Miller, former head of Apple's iAd group, told Businessweek last year. "When he says stuff, people listen." The Apple press release did not say what Forstall plans to do when he leaves the company. Apple did not immediately respond to a message seeking further details. The release Monday came as Wall Street was virtually shut down in advance of Hurricane Sandy, and more than a million customers along the East Coast were already without power because of the storm's onslaught. John Browett, Apple's head of retail, is also leaving, according to the release. The company is launching a search for his replacement, whereas it appears Forstall's duties will be divvied up for now among other Apple heavy hitters. Ive, Bob Mansfield, Eddy Cue and Craig Federighi "will add more responsibilities to their roles," according to the announcement. Cue, the senior vice president for Internet software and services,......

This Is What I Should Do to Improve My Performance

...THIS IS WHAT I SHOULD DO TO IMPROVE MY PERFORMANCE PREPARE BEFORE EVERY SIGNIFICANT EVENT. The best way to improve the performance is by good preparation. For example, if we are going to present a paper or to take an exam our performance mainly lies on how much we prepare on it. By good preparation we will get an idea what we are doing. Sometime even though we are brilliant if we didn’t prepare the result will be bad. A good performance lies on hardworking and how much time we take to prepare for it. For example, if we ask someone who failed or performed low they might have only one answer “I didn’t prepare well”. We must have a good idea what we are going to do. HAVE GOOD CONTROL OVER THE EMOTIONS AND MOODS. Emotions and moods have a good control over the performance. If we are too much emotional it will affect our performance. The emotions are more action oriented and the moods are less action oriented. Research shows that emotions are critical to rational thinking. For example, if we are excited or happy it will have a high positive affect on the performance and if we are sad or nervous it will affect our performance very badly. I still remember the first paper presentation of my life. I felt nervous to speak in front of the audience and it affected my performance. We must have good control over the emotions and moods so that we can improve the performance. HAVE ADEQUATE AMOUNT OF REST The adequate amount of rest is a key factor in performance. We must have......

...for motivating this client and helping the client reach her goal. A triathlon is a fun course and the client is allowing themselves enough time to properly prepare without getting overwhelmed. To start, I would explain that this involves three different phases: the run, swim, and bike. So they will be working different muscle groups for each activity and that they are all big muscle groups of the body. Instead of looking at the big picture I would have them break it down and focus on small goals. Some smaller goals to start with would be start running two-three days a week for about 1-2 miles. Once comfortable with that register for a 5K run. After that set a goal for a 10K run. While including the runs I would also incorporate strength training and maybe suggest they meet with a trainer once or twice a week for 30 minutes to work on strength making sure the trainer knows what they are training for so they can work the proper muscle groups. I would also suggest maybe a cycling class as biking can be somewhat lonely. Again, I would start small and celebrate the small accomplishments, then move on to the next goal. I would have them write it all down on separate pieces of paper so that they are only concentrating on one goal at a time. For example, the first piece could be: run 2-3 miles 2 days/week, strength train once a day and cycle once a week for the first week increasing intensity as needed. Next I would suggest that they maybe try and do this with a......

...nature. (e.g. Jesus turning water into wine an Cana). Private experiences 1. Describable in ordinary language – Experiences such as dreams. 2. Non-describable experiences – This refers to direct experiences of God in which God/the wholly other/the divine is revealed to people. These experiences go beyond human powers of description. 3. Non-specific experiences – These experiences could include things like looking at the world from a religious perspective. Vision experiences A vision experience is one in which God or the divine is ‘seen’ or ‘observed’. In the vision information may be revealed, so dreams are described by theologians as noetic and revelatory. Voices In Christian tradition, religious experiences of God can often be associated with the idea of hearing. Hearing in this case means more than an audible voice, but also the communication of knowledge. The voice is usually linked to God. Often the voice of God is one aspect or a religious experience which could, for example, be a mystical experience. William James William James in his book ‘The Varieties of Religious Experience: A Study in Human Nature’, investigated a large number of accounts of religious experiences. He was interested in exploring the nature of the wide variety of religious experiences that people have. This interested James because he assumed that religious experience was the source of religious institutions such as churches. Churches, for James, were secondary to each......

Why Do I Read

...I have to admit that I am not as prolific of a reader as I used to be. My current reading mainly consists of reading news and science articles from the internet, and occasional bed time stories with my son. I enjoy reading news rather than watch or listen to news, mainly because it allows me to gather and analyze information from various sources without the filter or the bias of television or radio networks news anchors. In addition to news and various articles I prefer to read short stories. My fascination with short stories began at around age 12 or 13. At the time, since access to television in Iran was very limited. We had to entertain ourselves and being a mischievous child I spent a lot of time in my room (being punished) either listening to radio or reading. My favorite books at the time were horror books. I remember buying these paperback books and reading them cover to cover in two or three days and be scared out of my wits for a few days. I recall at the end of some of these books were teasers about the next story that was due to arrive next. However, at the end of one of the books there was a short story by Edgar Allan Poe titled “The Cask of Amontillado”, I read that story several times and every time I found something new that I Had missed previously. That was the reason I got interested in short stories. My fascination with short stories always have been with a given writers ability to develop main characters, , story plot, and a that in novels might take......

“Am I a Product of My Past or Do I Have a Choice in What I Do? Why Do I Do What I Do?”

...I believe that our environment can inhibit our options, but the choices we make can enhance our experience within the environment we have been placed in. In my stance on the question at hand I would like to present my take on Skinner’s ideas that, “It is the environment which is responsible for objectionable behavior, and it is the environment, not some attribute of the individual, which must be changed.” and, “A person does not act upon the world, the world acts upon him.” I understand Skinner’s view point, however, I differ from his ideas in three ways: first, we are products of the choices we have made in the past; secondly, our physical environment can be changed by us; and third, our mental environment is influenced by authorities, but not controlled. In the following paragraphs I will use observational learning, instinctive drift, and behavior modification to explain each of my personal views pertaining to the question, “Why do I do what I do?” I have lived in Southwest Kansas my entire life because my parents chose to start their lives here; therefore I am a product of the choice my parents made for me seventeen years ago pertaining to where I live. However, like any environment there are ecological factors to consider such as weather, wildlife, and resources. For example, let’s say I had only previously encountered garter snakes and bullsnakes and had had positive experiences with both, and my parents had never told me to fear snakes. Then one day I encounter...

...ABSENCE OF TEAMWORK CASE STUDY Questions 1. Based on the way this team organized their work on the Finance project, what type of task interdependence (p. 381) did the team choose? Would a different form of task interdependence been more effective? They used pooled interdependence method whereas, every member does their own assigned part. A more effective task interdependence would be reciprocal. Reason being the team would have been assigned a part that he/she specialized in that way you would get a good response and work ethic out of them. 2. Was there a high degree of goal interdependence (p. 384) on the team? What could the team have done to increase goal interdependence? No there wasn’t because everybody didn’t do what was assigned to them. This team could have be more serious about this project and made it a top priority in their “to do” list. Some member didn’t show up to the meeting to complete the project. The quality of the project could have been more effective if the team would have treated it like something important. 3. Teamwork processes (p. 420) are important in helping teams be effective. Evaluate the team on all three types of teamwork processes, transition, action and interpersonal. In transition processes, the team did poorly in because they didn’t plan the process that they were going to face. I would have to say that they did bad in action processes to because no one didn’t keep up with the progress of each other and their position......

What Should I Do?

...What Should I Do? First off I would begin to reassure Kim that I understand that she has never been through a planning process before, so there’s no need for her to panic. I would then explain to her that the departmental plan is merely a written explanation on how to accomplish and to achieve the objectives discussed and agreed upon in last month’s meeting. I would then begin to tell her to utilize and incorporate her expertise of her 7 years as a sales specialist. She should deal directly with the warehouse clerks and get a printout of what time of the month or year sales is at its peak. I would first suggest that she juts down the specifics on what takes place daily in her department, and also I would suggest that other associates in that department compile the same thing and submit them to Kim. That way she will get the gist of what everyone in her department does and everyone would then be in agreement with that objective. Kim should also seek the previous manager for advice and expert advice if at all possible. I think that Kim’s initial reaction to the planning process is a usual one. Everyone if put into a new position would get cold feet. Even if you have had experience in and with a company for years, your new roll and what is expected in a promotion is new. No one knows what to expect until trained and it is okay to ask questions. Until she becomes familiar with what is expected of her, any new task will seem overwhelming, until she gets the hang of it....
